AACSB

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is the world's oldest accrediting body for business schools at all three levels of education - undergraduate, master's and doctoral - in the areas of management and business and accounting. AACSB accreditation is currently held by more than 1,000 business schools worldwide, including Harvard and Yale University.   The subject of accreditation is: curricula, broadly defined organization of studies, academic achievements, qualifications and structure of staff, international cooperation, teaching and research base, administrative service. In Poland, ALK and UMK are accredited.

EQUIS

The accreditation is awarded to the best business schools running Master of Business Administration programs. It is awarded by the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). All activities of the university, including research and postgraduate education, are evaluated. EQUIS emphasizes the development of management and entrepreneurial skills among students and the introduction of innovations in educational processes. In Poland, EQUIS accreditation has been obtained by Leon Kozminski Academy, the Warsaw School of Economics, among others.

AMBA

The AMBA (Association of MBA's) is the impartial authority on postgraduate management education. The accreditation process evaluates, among other things, study conditions, programs, faculty qualifications and student achievement. It is currently held by some 270 schools in 75 countries around the world. Accreditation confirms the highest educational quality of MBA programs, in accordance with international standards. In Poland, the accreditation is held by Gdansk University of Technology, Wroclaw University of Economics, Leon Kozminski Academy, among others.

EFMD

EFMD Accredited is a comprehensive accreditation system for degree programs and courses in business and management. Accreditation encompasses all aspects of a program: from its institutional, national and international environment through its design, program, delivery, outcomes, impact, and quality assurance processes. It emphasizes academic rigor, the practical importance of education, internationalization, ethics and sustainability. There are currently 145 EFMD Accredited programs from 114 institutions in 40 countries. In Poland, EFMD accreditation has been awarded to Warsaw University of Technology, the EU in Krakow, among others.

CEEMAN IQA

Accreditation is awarded by CEEMAN, an international management development association founded in 1993 to accelerate the growth of quality management development in Central and Eastern Europe. Today it is a global network of institutions with 200 members from 50 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia. The accreditation aims to improve management education, emphasizes high standards of quality, the importance of an institution's activities in responding to the development needs of its clients and markets, and the imperative for change and innovation. In Poland, CEEMAN accreditation has been obtained by Leon Kozminski Academy, the Warsaw School of Economics, among others.
